Frequently asked questions?

 Why do I need to maintain (1) new member account to work for PCI?  The initial (1) new member enrollment became a company policy for a simple reason. Historically, PCI used an entire Human Resource Department to screen, interview, and hire Associates. PCI could only hire Associates where it had physical offices, thus, preventing thousands of job applicants from working with PCI. Because the lead cost is $2-$5/ lead, PCI must be certain to hire Associates who are serious about working at home. By requiring an initial enrollment to become an active Associate, PCI can be confident that an applicant is serious about a career without having to complete the interview process. Remember that you may enroll anyone as your initial (1) new member enrollment.

 Can I enroll myself to qualify as an active Associate?  Yes, you can enroll yourself to become an active Associate. If you do decide to take advantage of the services for yourself and use that account as your (1) new member enrollment, you can get the discounted Associate rate, which is about 1/3rd off the retail rate. Once you become active, you can than replace your personal account with a new member account, if you choose to do so.

 How am I paid?  Payroll is sent out on the 5th of each month by mail. Pay is based on each account you activate and on your MAP monies (Monthly Automated Payment). (see pay structure tab)

Am I considered an employee with Procard International?  NO, you would be considered an independent contractor, which means no quotas, no required set hours, and you can keep your current full-time or part-time employment. For tax purposes, you would receive a 1099 form.

Do I have to choose which position to take with Procard International?  NO, with Procard International you can choose any one or combination of our career options including PCI, LocalDiscounts.com, PizzaDelivery.com, USJunkmail.com, and our upcoming GreenAlert.org. You can also change careers at any time as long as you have at least (1) active account.

How do I get my FREE leads?  You will receive your free leads through our easy-to-use online lead system. With this system, you can download your leads right on our website in our Associate section. Furthermore, every time a new enrollment is submitted with your personalized sponsor code, you receive a notification e-mail from us so that you know when you can request more leads. In Addition to providing leads for new enrollments, we often give away FREE leads for contests, suggestions, "Free Leads Light" and much more. The more leads you have, the better your chances of success.

Upcoming Changes To Our Associate Registration Process
Once again we would like to thank everyone for participating in our survey. The responses have been positive throughout and we have received valuable feedback and suggestions. Overall, most everyone seems to be excited about the new Registration/Activation process that we have laid out. Some of you had additional questions about the new strategy. You can find answers to the most frequently asked question below.

Will Job Applicants still have the option to activate their account by enrolling themselves or their family in one of the savings plans?
We understand that many Associates need PCI’s medical discount plan for themselves, and we will continue to offer this option for Job Applicants to become Associates.
There will still be (3) options for activation:
1. Activate Someone Else = Free Start
2. Activate Yourself
3. Purchase Your Own Personalized Associate Website.

Do these changes affect current Associate status in any way?
No. It does not matter if you activated your Associate status by finding one active account, enrolled yourself into one of our savings plans or if you purchased an Associate website.

What will happen to our current Registered Associate Leads?
All Registered Associate Leads will be converted to Job Applicant Leads. Your leads will be able to take advantage of our new simplified registration process. This will enable you to work with your old and expired leads again and continue to do so until they unsubscribe. You can contact them to let them know about the new procedures which might mean more activations for you. Many of your leads will be glad that they can take a second look and spend as much time as they need to find their one active account if that is the activation option they choose.

Will we still get paid for Associate activations?
There will be no changes made to our Associate payroll. You will get paid for Associate Activations the same as before.

How soon will these changes be made?
Since we have had so many positive responses to our proposed strategy, Procard International will begin with the implementation, immediately. Please expect 1-2 months for the changes to be completed. We will keep you updated along the process and will help you during the transition with revised marketing  materials and ideas.
